He fears germs and almost anything at all that he touches which makes him lovable but pretty funny.Tony Shalhoub's performance as Monk is pretty flawless and he suits the character completely as he portrays Monk's obsessions and phobias with perfection. Tony had obtained a Golden World award and an Emmy Award for Perfect Actor for his functionality in Monk.On the other hand, Monk's character is just not the only real strong efficiency in the collection.
